NFT Tweets Posted; Indian Government Twitter Accounts Hacked; Bitcoin Falls!

On Saturday, several government twitter accounts, including that of the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, were hacked and used to post about the Beanz NFT air drop; Bitcoin and Ethereum fell by 2.4 and 5.35 percent, respectively.

On April 9, a number of Indian government and political twitter accounts were hacked, with external links to non-fungible tokens (NFTs), cryptos, and other items being tweeted.

The government of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, the state’s chief minister, the Punjab National Congress, the University Grants Commission (UGC), and the Indian Meteorological Department are among the hacked government twitter accounts. Yogi Adityanath’s profile photo has been replaced with an NFT image. According to Coindesk, the government of Uttar Pradesh’s account was exploited to make a tweet on beanz NFT collecting.

According to tweets from the state government’s official Twitter account, both the state government and the chief minister’s twitter accounts were later restored, and a case was filed in connection with the matter at the Cyber Crime police station in Lucknow.

In other news, Binance said that the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) has granted it provisional in-principle licence to operate as a virtual asset broker-dealer in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Prices of Cryptocurrencies

At 4:01 p.m., the global crypto market cap had dropped 3.56 percent to $1.95 trillion. According to Coinmarketcap data, worldwide crypto volume increased by 44.73 percent to $79.37 billion.

Bitcoin (BTC), the world’s oldest cryptocurrency, was trading at $41,519.99 in the last 24 hours, down 2.4 percent. Ethereum (ETH) was trading at $3,077.26, down 5.35 percent.

Cardano (ADA) was down 5.69 percent at $0.9711, Algorand (ALGO) was down 6.37 percent at $0.718, and Binance Coin (BNB) was down 3.63 percent at $406.86, among other notable coins. Solana (SOL) was trading at $105.19, down 4.62 percent, and Polkadot (DOT) was at $17.99, down 7.73 percent.

Goblin (Goblin) was the highest gainer today, up 824.04 percent to $0.00000001031. Mini Cat Coin (MiniCat) was the biggest loser, dropping 99.01 percent to $0.0000003143.

Prices For Meme Coins And DeFi

Dogecoin (DOGE) was trading at $0.1427, down 4.06 percent. It has a volume-to-market-cap ratio of 0.1015. Shiba Inu (SHIB), a competitor, was down 4.12% to $0.00002352.

Dogelon Mars (ELON) dropped 7.08 percent to $0.0000008199, Floki Inu (FLOKI) fell 2.21 percent to $0.00003064, and Samoyed Coin (SAMO) down 4.07 percent to $0.01835.

YFI (yearn.finance) was down 5.24 percent in the DeFi category, trading at $19,414.83.

Terra (LUNA), on the other hand, fell 8.18 percent to $86.08. Avalanche (AVAX) was down 7.82 percent to $76.89, Uniswap (UNI) was down 6.97 percent to $9.32, and Aave (AAVE) was down 7.47 percent to $165.16.
