New music from Dillon Francis is set to drop soon, including a new collaboration with Gerald the Piata.
Dance music and gaming meet cryptocurrency at the new Atari-themed virtual casino, and it’s all coming together for one unique convergence.
The Atari Casino is part of the blockchain-based Decentral Games network. The event’s grand opening takes place on April 28th. As part of the festivities, attendees will have the opportunity to bid on Francis’ Gerald NFTs, created by virtual artist Merda.
A $10,000 prize package will be up for grabs, as well as limited edition NFT wearables designed by Francis. Francis himself will perform a live stream at the event.
The venue is the third virtual casino system to open on Decentral Games’ Ethereum platform, and will showcase an Atari theme.
In recent weeks, Decentral did a lot of work joining the metaverse. They announced recently that a virtual version of Amnesia Ibiza is opening this summer. This will open up the possibility of virtual performances and create an immersive digital clubbing experience.
Despite all the buzz surrounding cryptocurrencies, it’s hard to deny that virtual gaming has the potential to drive mainstream adoption . In a joint statement, bitcoin-based Decentralized Games said it expects Atari to reach $400 million in revenue, nearly doubling in just two years.
