SpaceX & NASA – Their Goals & Vision
SpaceX is the name of a private aerospace manufacturer. It was founded by Elon Musk in 2002. They have two very different missions, one is to be an international space transportation company, and the other is to be a space exploration company. NASA is the American space agency and it was founded in 1958. The space industry is wide open space to explore as it was decades ago! The world is looking for a new solution. SpaceX is a newer company, but has progressed a lot in the past few years. It is developing smart ways to send people into space.
Lets discuss the differences between NASA and SpaceX and the market share of each company a bit more in details. Space is a huge industry and new businesses are popping up all the time. What is the difference between a company like SpaceX and NASA? The difference is that SpaceX is a private company and NASA is public. For NASA, the goal is to do research and innovate new technology, while for SpaceX, it is to innovate new technology to propel humans to the moon, Mars, and beyond.
